OnTheBill is the shared calendar and booking home for bands and venues, run by Junior Guthrie. This page says what we keep and why. Questions go to hello@getonthebill.com.
What we keep
- Your account: name, email and, if you add it, your phone number.
- What you put in: calendars, events, pay details, open dates, bookings, messages, venue contacts and profile details.
- If you add your own calendar address, the dates you're busy. We don't keep titles or details from it.
- What bands send through a submission page, and notes a venue keeps on how a show went. A venue's note stays private, though a rebook counts toward the band's total.
- Basic records of what happens in a team, such as who changed an event and which emails were sent.
- Venue and band contact details from public sources, such as websites and listings, kept in the directory.
Who sees it
The first time you use a booking link from your own email, it signs you in on that device, so don't forward those emails. Your team sees your team's calendar. If a venue adds a phone and street address, bands on its bookings see them. If you send a band a party request, that band gets your name, email, phone and event details so it can answer you. Pay stays private to your team and is left out of public pages, share links and calendar feeds. If a band chooses to show in search, its name, town, styles, bio and booking contact appear in the public band search. Its price stays out of it. A venue's headcount can appear as part of a band's average crowd unless the band hides it. Event notes stay off share links, and lines about pay or contacts stay out of calendar feeds. If you list yourself as a freelance player, signed-in users can see that listing and its contact details until you remove it. If you ask us to watch another calendar, we keep its address and check it daily until you stop. If you turn on alerts, we keep the address your device gives us for them until you turn them off. Band and venue calendars start with a public page that shows your profile and confirmed shows, and you can hide it any time under Public profile. Your profile strength checklist shows only to your team. Anything you post as an open date, or put on your public page, can be seen by anyone.
Services we use
We use Vercel to run the site, Supabase to store data, and Resend to send and receive email. If texting is turned on, Twilio sends the texts, and only to people who opted in. Map images load from OpenStreetMap. If you connect an AI assistant, it can read and change your calendar under the rules shown when you connect it.
To see how OnTheBill is doing, Junior looks at totals, like how many bands signed up or shows got booked, and the names and towns of new band and venue calendars. That page never shows emails, pay or messages.
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you: it records the page, where you came from, your country and your kind of device and browser, and it can't follow you across days or other sites. Secret parts of sign-in and share links are removed before anything is sent.
We don't sell your information.
Your choices
You can change your details in the app. To delete your account, or to have a venue listing changed or removed, email hello@getonthebill.com. Every pitch sent through OnTheBill shows the sender's mailing address and has a link to stop more of them. A person reads and approves every pitch, and an address gets at most a pitch and one follow-up in 90 days.
OnTheBill is for people 18 and over.
